DESCRIPTION: The 765± acre Doomsday

Ranch is located along the southern portion of the Noyes Valley, with excellent access from Callahan

– Gazelle Road, and frontage on Rail Creek Road, gateway to popular Kangaroo Lake Campground

by the Pacific Crest Trail.

The Ranch, with a 2,500± foot dirt airstrip, A-frame, and large storage building, was developed as a

private escape in the 1970s.

There is a gated entry from Rail Creek Road, and a bridge over Rail Creek. The property contains

almost one mile of Rail Creek frontage. Rail Creek is tributary to the East Fork of the Scott River. The

A-frame and storage building are located above Rail Creek, and the airstrip is along a ridge above

the A-frame. The A-frame is in fair condition and has a bathroom, a main level with kitchen, and a

small loft above the kitchen. The large storage building was designed originally as a dormitory, but is

in poor condition and should be demolished. There are two concrete slabs which had been used for

mobile homes. A pond is by the northern end of the airstrip, with several other ponds located on the

Doomsday Ranch. There is power to the Ranch.
