The 32,475± acre Foley Butte Block, being
offered by Ochoco Lumber Company,
is one of the largest contiguous private
ownerships of a well-stocked commer-
cial ponderosa pine tree farm available
for sale in the Pacific Northwest. Lo-
cated in the heart of Central Oregon’s
resort markets, it has a combination of
timber, recreation, conservation, and de-
velopment values. The Foley Butte Block
contains an estimated 80 million board
feet of primarily ponderosa pine, with
some Douglas-fir and grand fir, and is
projected to triple in volume to over 261
million board feet within 25 years, due
in part to Ochoco Lumber Company’s
land stewardship and reforestation in-
vestments made throughout its twenty-
two year ownership.
