The northwest section contains a series of ridgetops with views west to the Pacific Ocean, north to Siltcoos Lake and south to Tahkenitch Lake. There are secluded coves along Harmony Bay, Booth Arm, Big Arm, North Arm and Bear Trap Arm which have low banks and potential easy access for boating and camping.

The largest concentration of older reproduction and pre-merch stands for the entire Tree Farm, in the 11 to 25 year age class, are located on Block A, and contribute to the significant growth projected for the next 15 to 20 years. The majority of the estimated 3,315 MBF of merch timber on Block A is located in the northwest portion within Section 11, near Rocky Point. The road system has been built into the stand so harvesting can begin without delay.
