DESCRIPTION: This 160± acre timber and recreation tract is located on the northwest-facing slopes of Joe Dyer Butte, five miles east of the Rogue River community of Shady Cove, and has potential for a secluded hunting base camp or camping site with access via an ATV. There is a BLM logging road in poor condition which provides access from Indian Creek Road to both Auction Properties #11 and #135. There is an estimated 575 MBF of Douglas fir, pine and hardwoods on 115± acres. The balance of the property is non-commercial forest land. There is physical access to the western portion of the tract along several ridgetops in the northwest corner. The balance of the property has moderate to steep slopes. A tributary of Indian Creek is located along the eastern portion of the property.
